Key: Additions Deletions
Its my first time and the thrills are about opening out my world of thoughts to you all out there. I like to talk and communicate. The exchange of ideas appeals to me because of a singular selfish reason.. it adds to my knowledge.
I have been a recent addition to the already addict world of BLOGGING!
Least to say I am an addict too!
Blogs and Blog Posts... Raging all over the globe and thousands being created everyday.
The consumer never stops and is relentlessly at the comp screen furiously tapping the keyboard keys to make sure he vents out before the anger/ happiness evaporates. Corportes, on the other hand, probably just view these and then have their own e-departments analyse content and then use their own discretion to appropriate any deligence to such writes. Its time that these Corporates woke up!!
There are times when people get upbeat about a product and they want to be the first to boast about its usage. Loads of sites and internet centres (not to forget the laptops) at virtually every nook and corner give them the adrenaline rush to write about it and tell the world /globe about their experiences. They are passionate about what they have used and write about it with equal passion. They want to trumpet around the fact that they have been there and done that!! Mentally these consumers are geared to either bloat about the usage of the product OR tear it to shreds. The utility of products is generally limited and there are always those sentences which are called read between the lines or are marked with *asterisks, to tell the user that certain conditions apply!!
Isnt it time for the Corporates to drive down these points and tell the consumers the way to correct and obtain optimum result from their products?? How many do really know that soft drinks like Coke or Pepsi taste their true best at -4deg C?? But thats the ideal condition for consumers to drink it.. Blogs are basically very honest opinions about what the consumers 'experience' has been. It could also be a thread to a betterment of a particular product which would ultimately result in more uses and sales for the Corporates.
The strong undercurrent is that Corporates have virtually 'no trust' on the bloggers'. Meaning they are very sceptical about the fact that whether this blogger has actually tried the product or no?? Its ideal for them to think of this situation from the other side of the fence because they are reading your story from their ideal conditions apply POV!! Therein lies the first mistake.. Take the blogger at what he has written and try to get in touch with him. His feedback could be so valuable that you can actually imagine the turnaround that such feedbacks can give your company, materialisng in sales and eventually a better bottom line.
This is the first in this series of Corporate Participation!! Also please note that this here blog is very India centric.
Rest depends on your reaction to this post.
Am also putting in a thought of Share. Please do comment and add your inputs. Make it more interesting and invaluable.
