Surprising but true! You have to then link it within your mind first and then add a tag for yourself so that the link remains active first within you and then to the others.

This is where you start sharing.

The blogosphere is a niche for people of like minded nature to rant and rave and in the process create a BUZZ about their likes and dislikes. It is also an arena where people duel out their views, comment other thoughts and carry the thread for others to learn from. The entire idea for writing these thoughts is to network your brainwave into like minds and create a BLACK HOLE that sucks others into its vertex inducing a movement of the mass where too many minds are making too much noise about a thing and the whole movement turning into a mass collage of same thoughts. Imagine the power these words would have in intimidating or influencing passers by, who are there only to read these threads and then maybe form an opinion and then maybe write more on it, the entire effect called in todays lingo as VIRAL MARKETING.

Blogs help you SHARE your ideas on a platform created by self or others and help network with like minded netizens. It is a medium which allows you free flow of ideas that can be taken apart, applauded and even be plausible in terms of being UNIQUE in concept. The influence of such ideas can be so VIRAL that they are immediately implemented OR trashed ELSE upheld unanimously for being unique in what they are written about. So long as you are creative about being eager to share you will find a fair amount of participation from the who's who of this amazing world world. I have had my fair amount of interaction with David Airey and he was very vocal about what I should be ideally doing and not. Also, he was kind enough to guide me through a process that made me see light to the fact of how focus on a topic helps keeping the blog active, unique in its sense of content and keeping track with the right people.

Sharing a thought and adding more to it can only lead to strengthening of such threads and within a short period of time you are looking at a whole new COMMUNITY sharing the the same thread of thoughts and forwarding an energy that emanates such a positive reaction towards the thought that it actually begins to take a very positive shape. If the CHINESE gave us the Feng Shui and Reiki the only thing that was evident about these practices is that they propel a thought that gets adapted by its positive energy and the energy that it spreads is so viral that you have a group of people preaching it and practicing it. The surrounding where these thoughts are practiced and taught have a natural aura of positivity and goodness. COMMUNITY is slowly taking shape here.

Similarly, what David taught me was a great thread of thought that I am sharing and would like this thought to be completely VIRAL.

SHARE1
http://moblogsmoproblems.blogspot.com/2007/05/breakup-video.html

This is a fantastic example of VIRAL marketing that I have come across and I wanted to share this with you all. Note that in this video the characters are enacting a dialogue that will be a role play of many a marketing teams just to get the consumer right. Enjoy. Thanks Mack Collier, I owe this to you..

BTW, if you ever come across this site, which is under development yet, I also answer to a similar pen name and spell it as Mak.

Focus on content and specific writes are a very integral part of your blog. You have to be in sync with the thought that you want to project only then can you have your fair share of eyeballs watching you and then maybe commenting and even linking your blog to their referrals. Thus begins your journey into the coveted blogosphere of today.

Products & Services

Utility means active usage. Active usage equals contant use which in turn equals finding out more about a product in use and its aspect of usability. Its common knowledge that more usage of a product brings about more damaging evidence of the product and its working and its actual usage statistics in terms of the company which owns the product, brand and its claims to fame by these companies.

What strikes most is how often the product stands to its tests in the open market and how often it fails. A good case in point is BANKS, its claims to spot on services and its product offerings to masses where most times the masses read only the lines that are completely flowery and forget to see the * asterisk conditions apply.

Normally, its easy for a common man to decipher information on a brochure, catalogue as it highlights the rich features of the product. Any visible media physically will not talk about the conditions apply so very visibly. This finer print can sometimes strike back, particularly in case of Banks, as the consumer is either thinking of investing his money into your bank. The trust of this consumer in your product is at stake. Banks are ideally targetted for any smallest fallacy in their services. The reason beng betrayal of trust.

Another case in question would be the Cell phone service providers. Now these guys have a huge job at hand. Not only are they providing vital connectivity to their customers but they have a job to make sure the cell is connected! One fall in service and all hell breaks loose. These providers should be the first corporates out there blogging furioulsy and talking to their consumers. Retaining one consumer is such a huge ask as there are a lot of others waiting to woo this disgruntled customer. Would blogging help such corporates??

Personally, yes.

Another interesting case in point are automobile manufacturers. Yes they sell cars only and purely on the basis of design, engine performance*, acceleration, utility, colors and of course gorgeous women donning their advertisements on air. Accleration standards generally read 0 to 60kmph in 6 seconds flat... wow thats power and you go buy it. Average 15kmpl*, now thats a damn good reason to buy this beauty, sure go right ahead. Now what happens in such classic scenarios'? By the way did you guys notice the astersik mark at all? be honest and comment. Anyway what the * mark actually means;
a. 0 to 60 kmph on ideal road conditions. Now when you take of from a traffic signal first in line, you may be smiling ear to ear, but if you are the third car down the lane you just cannot achieve this.
b. 15kmpl tested in ideal conditions. These ideal conditions are generally on created stretches of road built very well for ensuring smooth drives during test conditions at the company works itself. Buddy do not ever think that on city roads you are going to get that!!

Have you ever thought of clicking those small boxes after you have visited a particular Corporate website where you have asked for updates and new info on your favorite company to be mailed to you right into your inbox... Well then you must have experienced the amount of phone clls you must have received on your cell phones trying to sell you the entire bouquet the company hs to offer. Its not your fault at all. These irritating gimmicks are all the company creations only with their complete knowledge. They want to woo their top consumers with the best offers. You might even succumb to some and order them, but when it comes to deliverance they sometimes fail. What do you do then... you talk and share these experiences and try to get your like minded consumers on your side and believe me there will be quite a few.

This is where after consumer feedback the Corporates must realise that they have to pay a lot of attention to.

Corporate - Waiting the time OR ... Timing the wait??

Hello All

Its my first time and the thrills are about opening out my world of thoughts to you all out there. I like to talk and communicate. The exchange of ideas appeals to me because of a singular selfish reason.. it adds to my knowledge.

I have been a recent addition to the already addict world of BLOGGING!

Least to say I am an addict too!

Blogs and Blog Posts... Raging all over the globe and thousands being created everyday.

The consumer never stops and is relentlessly at the comp screen furiously tapping the keyboard keys to make sure he vents out before the anger/ happiness evaporates. Corportes, on the other hand, probably just view these and then have their own e-departments analyse content and then use their own discretion to appropriate any deligence to such writes. Its time that these Corporates woke up!!

There are times when people get upbeat about a product and they want to be the first to boast about its usage. Loads of sites and internet centres (not to forget the laptops) at virtually every nook and corner give them the adrenaline rush to write about it and tell the world /globe about their experiences. They are passionate about what they have used and write about it with equal passion. They want to trumpet around the fact that they have been there and done that!! Mentally these consumers are geared to either bloat about the usage of the product OR tear it to shreds. The utility of products is generally limited and there are always those sentences which are called read between the lines or are marked with *asterisks, to tell the user that certain conditions apply!!

Isnt it time for the Corporates to drive down these points and tell the consumers the way to correct and obtain optimum result from their products?? How many do really know that soft drinks like Coke or Pepsi taste their true best at -4deg C?? But thats the ideal condition for consumers to drink it.. Blogs are basically very honest opinions about what the consumers 'experience' has been. It could also be a thread to a betterment of a particular product which would ultimately result in more uses and sales for the Corporates.

The strong undercurrent is that Corporates have virtually 'no trust' on the bloggers'. Meaning they are very sceptical about the fact that whether this blogger has actually tried the product or no?? Its ideal for them to think of this situation from the other side of the fence because they are reading your story from their ideal conditions apply POV!! Therein lies the first mistake.. Take the blogger at what he has written and try to get in touch with him. His feedback could be so valuable that you can actually imagine the turnaround that such feedbacks can give your company, materialisng in sales and eventually a better bottom line.

This is the first in this series of Corporate Participation!! Also please note that this here blog is very India centric.

Rest depends on your reaction to this post.

Am also putting in a thought of Share. Please do comment and add your inputs. Make it more interesting and invaluable.
